A DTF gang sheet is a single large sheet of film packed with multiple heat-transfer designs, printed all at once using Direct-to-Film (DTF) technology. Instead of printing each design separately, decorators "gang" several images onto one sheet to cut cost per print and eliminate wasted film.
How DTF Printing Works
DTF (Direct-to-Film) printing is a modern heat-transfer method that produces vibrant, full-color prints on virtually any fabric — cotton, polyester, blends, dark garments, white garments — without the limitations of screen printing or heat-transfer vinyl. The process is simple:
- Your artwork is printed onto PET film using CMYK + white ink layers.
- Hot-melt adhesive powder is applied and cured.
- You heat press the transfer onto your garment for 10–15 seconds.
- Peel and wear — the design is soft, stretchy, and washfast.
